Building the Website: The website name

Ok so for awhile I have been pondering about the name. For me a project and especially a website must have a awesome, simple, easy to remember name. Something I can yell across the room at somebody, they can remember and then they can go home and type it into their browser (chrome ftw) and start surfing and they don't need to write it down on a piece of paper.

My friend the Melancholic and myself were doing some research tonight at Garden City for the website as well. When I say research, we were buying video games. We ended up talking to an attractive girl from high school that we both know and forgetting why we were there when Garden City closed (I thought late night shopping was late night, what is this 9pm crap). Afterwards when we were walking around trying to find my friends car we were talking about the website name.

"How about X?" joked Melon.

'Yes, that's awesome. X is a great name" - I said

"We could call it Vidgeridoo" - said Melon

"No, we are sticking with X. And Vidgeridoo sounds culturally insensitive to Aboriginal people" - Me

"Dammit I was only kidding with X" - Melon

So yeah, Gaddes' creative theory of illumination strikes again. Out of now where we now have the name for the website. I have searched the internet and the domain is free. I have $100 uploaded on my paypal account. Looking at owning that domain name by Monday afternoon.

Really excited about this.
